I loved the fact that all the activities are held within Dikhololo. I also loved the heated pool. The quad biking was exceptional. The staff handling the quad biking and game drives know how to interact with people and they are friendly. We saw giraffes, zebras and a variety of bucks. What an absolute treat! All the appliances worked in our bungalow. They also provided an iron and hairdryer.

Dikhololo is a very comfortable resort well worth a visit.. There are a number of pools to chill off in, a restaurant and a well stocked convenience store, including a small bottle store. The reception are extremely friendly and helpful attending to all your needs. Animals (mostly kudu) walk through the resort and the birdlife is plentiful.. 😊

This resort is beautiful and amazing, expanding to keep up with the demand, they have a lot of activities beautiful and clean chalets, a restaurant and bar that serves delicious food and drink and friendly staff that go above and beyond. The animals are beautiful and such an experience and a shout out to the monkeys that kept us entertained as well, absolutely love the monkeys, our favorite being the one with the missing hand, he is unforgettable. Highly recommend this resort.

Absolutely lovely place to go to relax and unwind. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again. There's lots of wild animals from bucks to monkeys, daddies and mongeese. The dirt road leading to the main gate does have some intense corrugation which will shake most cars, unless it's an offroader or a 4x4 of sorts

Relaxing resort ideal for family getaways. Reception staff could be more polite though. We visited Dikhololo during August , there was a water leak in the bathroom of the unit so we were moved to another unit the next day ,thank you for that. What I noticed in both the units is the up keep of the bathroomsis not up to standard, the glass shower doors are dull and dirty ,shower floors also not cleaned regularly. Needless to say that bathroom hygiene is most important. Management please monitor and get those showers shining. Please explain why are guests paying for the indoor pools and for using the air-conditioning, in the units ?? Rooms: Spacious and neat

A beautiful hideaway!! This place was amazing; we stayed in Gemsbok, the unit was clean, neat. beautiful and serviced daily. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. The resort has so many activities and a planned program for both kids and adults. The restaurant has delicious food and drinks (I especially enjoyed the pizzas, hake and chips and the cocktails) . The activities at Leap Adventures, the spa and heated pools and outdoor pools were alot of fun. The road 15kms to the resort is gravel and should be best traveled during the day. Overall this place is exceptional and one weekend simply wasn't enough. We will definitely go back.

A beautiful, clean family resort filled with lots to do. We were more than entertained in the week we spent there with all the facilities within the resort- game drives, quad bikes, bike hire, bike trails, pools, heated pools, mini golf, tennis, archery, paintball and so much more, which made it very convenient. Restaurants on premises are lovely with really good food. The game drive was very nice with lots of animals and birds to see. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The chalet was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. Game viewing and interaction is fantastic. Take peanuts, apples, carrots, etc. to feed the animals - cut into small pieces. Many will feed out of your hand once they see that you are not a threat. A restful, rewarding experience.

Amazing place. Been here almost every year since I was only 1 year old. (Won a few competitions when I was younger year as well, and really enjoyed staying here. So many memories.) Welcomed renovations has been done to the chalets and main swimming pool area, great shop where you can go buy drinks, food, Ice cream...etc, excellent pools and restuarant, wild life is great here (woke up once with like 10 different animal species outside our chalet!) and they recently made the WiFi unlimited & free. The only issues remain the gravel road to the actual place, which I understand is expensive to fix but I know it's possible for them to fix it, and having to pay to use the airconditioning. Few years ago, the chalets had ceiling fans which were free to use. Other than that, steller place which I highly recommend to anyone, at any age. Made so many memories here, come and create some of yours here too.

Wow. I have just returned from a week at Dikhololo in Brits with my family and friends. What an experience. We stayed in 6 Raasblaar, a magnificent home away from home. It was clean and spacious and everything worked very well. The staff were amazing, friendly and efficient. We did complain about a loud party late one night and security arrived within 5 minutes and sorted it out within 10 minutes. The animals were lovely and plentiful and the fishing eventful. My boys caught abut 16 fish over 2.5 days of fishing. The zipline was short but amazing and the guides were excellent. One concern was that the hot pool was so full of chemicals that it burned the childrens skin and eyes. Other than that we had a lovely week and have booked to go again in March.

We experienced fast and friendly service from the moment we arrived, and check-in couldn't have been easier. While many activities come with an additional cost, it's completely understandable for maintaining a resort of this caliber, and everything indeed looks to be in excellent condition. The road to Dikhololo could do with a good scraping as lower vechiles takes a bit of a hit,but the accommodation is fabulous. Clean, tidy and all you need. Loved the bring & braai and dance. The road to get there is quite hectic, not much privacy, you can hear your neighbours as if they are living with you. Could not get through to the spa and when I finally went there the lady was quite rude and told us they are fully booked before we could say anything

Beautiful resort with entertainment for every age. Rooms: Beautiful rooms and housing. Nearby activities: Swimming pools, game room, super tube, lookout point, hiking trail, game drives, quad bike, movie nights, game nights, squash court, tennis court, volley ball court, jungle gyms and a lot more. Safety: Safe to walk around and enjoy your stay. Walkability: Able to go for long walks and enjoy the nature. Noteworthy details: There's one or two giraffes, and if you're really lucky you could spot them.

Awesome family getaway, the children, teenagers and adults fully enjoyed themselves. There are many things to do, the spa is always fully booked so book in advance, restaurant food is great, but the food takes long to prepare so order in time. The service at reception was very warm and welcoming, the apartments are extremely well laid out, very modern, clean, and has all that is needed for a self catering holiday. Parents can really relax while children play all day, there is always something to do. Will definitely go back. Rooms: Very clean and comfortable, modern and fully equipped. Safety: Very safe. Everything was great. The only thing that really bothered us was that we could hear everything happening either side of our rooms. The walls are really thin. We also had no hot water on our first night as the geyser was broken and the guy had to come out twice and only finished fixing it at midnight. Otherwise the staff, grounds and specially the food was great.

Free standing will obviouslybe better, but ours was not exactly cheap, even on special. The walls between us and the neighbours were so thin, one could hear every word spoken. Same for the braai patio. Don't think I'll stay there again. I had to fix the TV cable. Air-conditioning units not working. Did not bother to report it to the people who were fixing the geyser. Always check the batteries of remotes. Rooms: As per comment. Nearby activities: Many options. Safety: Good. Walkability: Good. Food & drinks: Good

Dikhololo, we will choose you over and over again. The units are modern and are just perfectly equipped. Belinah at reception is just wonderful and loved! (She received her law degree and is now sending cv's out to the article, Dikhololo is probably hoping not to lose a gem) There is so much for the children to do. Making friends at every visit is also part of the pleasant experience. We are also grateful for the braai events with lekker pap & sous on the house. Good live entertainment and lekker sokkie!

The price is high for what it buys not even breakfast is included just a basic room with a shower worth 700 elsewhere, everything offered in the premise is paid for and very expensive, the slide is tiny too much chlorine, there aren't that many animals to see, really expensive for nothing much

They took 4 days to fix our leaking toilet and the stairs were too squeaky and felt unsafe. If it rains you can get stuck with small cars on the dirt road too Dikhololo Nearby activities: There is Zip lining, paintballing, bike riding as well as Safaris. Walkability: Make sure you have a vehicle because distances are far too great

The road leading up to the venue was a nightmare due to the heavy downpours of rain, we called the hotel for assistance and only received assistance 5hours later. I would strongly recommend visitors to drive more of an Offroad type of vehicle for a more resilient ride.

Love the friendly staff Marika and Marli help book us in she was super friendly and help full. With the booking of the heated pool Marika was awesome and very sufficient.
